- Report data: if you report content, we collect the reason you select, optional details, the reported content identifiers, and your user ID.
How we use information
- Provide the app, friend connections, widgets, and photo sharing.

- Investigate reports, enforce our Terms, and remove violating content.
- Respond to legal requests, including copyright and DMCA-related complaints.
Content moderation and reports
When you submit a content report, we store the report details and may automatically remove the reported photo while the report is processed. This helps protect users and respond quickly to copyright and safety concerns.
Sharing
Your moments are shared with friends you connect with in the app. We use service providers such as Google Firebase for hosting, storage, authentication, and notifications. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active. Report records may be retained after content removal for compliance, abuse prevention, and legal purposes.
Your choices
- You may delete your photos and account from the app settings.
- You may report content you believe violates our Terms or your rights.

By using Shake, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable laws in your location.
Your content
- You retain ownership of content you upload.
- You grant Shake a license to host, display, and transmit your content to provide the service, including to your friends and widgets.
- You are responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not post or share content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of others
- Is illegal, exploitative, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually inappropriate involving minors
- Contains malware, spam, or deceptive material
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
Enforcement and automatic takedown
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Reported content may be removed automatically without prior notice while we review the report. This automatic takedown policy is intended to reduce harm and respond promptly to copyright and DMCA-style complaints.
Copyright / DMCA
If you believe content on Shake infringes your copyright, report it in the app using the Copyright / DMCA reason or contact legal@shake-instant.web.app with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material and enough information to locate it
- Your contact information and a statement of good faith belief
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
Disclaimer
Shake is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shake is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Content Reporting

You can report a friend's photo from the back of the photo card in the Community gallery by tapping REPORT.
Available reasons
- Copyright / DMCA
- Inappropriate content
- Harassment or bullying
- Spam
- Other
What happens after you report
- Your report is saved with the selected reason and optional details.
- The reported photo is automatically removed from the service to protect users and respond quickly to copyright and safety concerns.
- The photo is removed from your feed immediately after submission.
- Report records may be retained for moderation, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
False reports
Submit reports in good faith. Abuse of the reporting system may result in account restrictions.
